Fernetti Intermodal Terminal reports trucks traffic increase in 2012
At the end of 2012 Fernetti Intermodal Terminal reported increasing the trucks traffic of about 10%:
the number of trucks served reached 145000 units.
Even customs operations have increased both in export (5%) and import (14%) flows.

Areas in Trieste free port can be displaced
The Foreign Affairs commission of the Italian parlament has stated that free points of the Trieste free port can be displaced.
They can be moved to other areas: they will continue to fulfill the same purposes of favorable trade they were created for. The displacement can be made by administrative actions, with no need to consult any foreign governative entity.
